Four Winds

The Old Religion of UtWoH, which was a slightly-nature based pantheistic religion with four gods.

Gods of the Four Winds:

There are only these four gods, all other heavenly creatures are angels, demons, devils, and celestial messengers. They are generally represented as women but Bu and Tema are gender fluid and Jaga is sometimes represented as male.

• Mamum (heart) / West / red / salt
• Bu (talons) / North / blue
• Jaga (teeth) / East / green
• Tema (eyes) / South / yellow

The Three Devils

They do not have common names; only certain superiors are allowed to know their actual names. Colloquially they are known as:

• Hunger Devil (greed)
• Pain Devil (cruelty)
• Empty Devil (hopelessness)

The Nuf

A semi-sacred collection of writings, mostly commentaries on the laws. Quoted extensively by literate followers and clergy, e.g. “What is even a single cycle in the turn of the world’s wheel?”
